Shan Thulaseedharan wrote and directed ‘Dear Vaappi,’ which is billed as a feel-good family entertainer. Lal, Anagha Narayanan, and Niranj Maniyanpilla Raju will all play important roles in the film. Dear Vappi’ revolves around an ambitious tailor Bashir and his daughter Amira who is a model. The film was shot in Thalassery, Mahi, Mysore, and Mumbai.
Kailas will compose the soundtrack for ‘Dear Vaappi,’ while S Pandikumar will direct the film. Ajay Mangad will handle art direction and Lijo Paul will serve as editor for the Lal – Anagha starrer. Shan Thulaseedharan’s film is directed by M Raja Krishnan, who also serves as the film’s sound designer.
