Kunchacko Boban Crowned Best Actor And Darshana Emerges As Leading Lady At Prestigious Film Critics Awards

46th Kerala Film Critics Award for Headmaster produced by Sreelal Devaraj and Prema P. Thekek and directed by Rajeev Nath and B32 44 Vaki produced by KSFDC and directed by Shruti Saranyam. Rajeev Nath and Shruti Saranyam will share the Best Director award. Mahesh Narayanan is the best director. Kunchacko Boban won Best Actor for his performances in the films Annoet, Nna Than KesKodu, and Pakalum Pathiravum. Darshana Rajendran is the best actress in the movie Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, Purushpretham. Veteran director and screenwriter KP Kumaran will be honored with the Film Ratnam Award for overall contributions. The Critics Ruby Jubilee Award will be presented to Kamal Haasan, who has been in every field of cinema for more than 50 years in South Indian and Malayalam cinema. This is the only film award in Kerala where applications are invited and decided by a jury after the state award. 82 films have been applied this time. The awards were announced by Association President and Jury Chairman Dr. George Onakure and General Secretary Thekinkad Joseph.

Actor Vijayaraghavan, who is celebrating his Ruby Jubilee in his acting career, Shobhana, a two-time National Award winner for Best Actress, Vineeth, who has been active in cinema for nearly thirty-eight years as an actor, dancer, and sound artist, Gayatri Ashokan, a screenwriter who brought a revolutionary change in Malayalam cinema poster design, and actor Mohan D. An award will also be presented.
