Famous Malayalam actor Pradeep KR, affectionately called Kottayam Pradeep, died on Thursday (February 17) in the wake of experiencing a cardiovascular failure. He was 61 years of age. Kottayam Pradeep’s unexpected death has sent shockwaves across the Malayalam film industry. He is made his wife Maya and two daughters. Prithviraj Sukumaran took to web-based media to offer condolence.

Pradeep started his profession as an actor in 2001. He was 40 in those days. At first, he played comedy roles in films. Up to this point, he had acted in 70 movies.
