Suriya praises Simbu for Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu

With his most recent film, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Silambarasan TR has once again demonstrated his control of the silver screen. The action entertainment film, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, debuted to rave reviews. The film serves as the opening chapter of the duology and was written by B Jeyamohan. Sending best wishes for the movie, Suriya tweeted, “Hearing such good things about #VTK… Waiting to watch… Happy for @menongautham… Rock on @silambarasanTR_ Best wishes for a huge success team!! @arrahman sir @VelsFilmIntl @RedGiantMovies_.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran also penned, “Quintessential Gautam Menon magic! Looking forward to this one!”

Music composer S Thaman penned on Twitter, “Wishing my dear brother from the heart darling #atman @SilambarasanTR_all the very best for his #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu #STR @arrahman sir & @menongautham @VelsFilmIntl…Wishing them a super successful #Blockbuster Outing.”

Sivakarthikeyan shared his wishes to Silambarasan TR as, “Best wishes to @SilambarasanTR_ sir @menongautham sir and the entire team of #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu for a grand success Loving @arrahman sir’s songs esp #MarakkumaNenjam.”

The songs for Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, which follows the lives of Muthu (Simbu), who joins the merciless world of crime, were composed by music legend AR Rahman. Along with Siddhi Idnani playing the male lead, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Aangelina Abraham will also play supporting parts in the movie.

Siddhartha Nuni operated the camera for Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, which was funded by Ishari K. Ganesh, while Anthony handled the editing. The Telugu version of the play, however, has been postponed from September 15 to September 17. The Tamil version of the drama was released today.
