After the incredible success of his film Vikram, Kamal Haasan has been on cloud nine. Now, relying on this success, he will be seen delighting audiences in four hit feature sequels. He will work on sequels to Indian, Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, Vikram, and the long-stalled Shabash Naidu. Gautham is planning to direct Kamal Haasan for the sequel of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu.

Gautham Vasudev Menon is a well-known director in the Tamil film industry, best known for his elegant filmmaking sensibility. Simbu and Siddhi Idnani will play the lead characters in GVM’s next film, ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu,’ which will be released on September 15.

As part of the film’s promotion, the filmmaker is now giving interviews ahead of its release. In a recent interview with Vikratan, Gautham Menon discussed the highly awaited ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2’. He stated, “The script is getting ready. I talked to Kamal sir about it for 45 minutes before the lockdown. He told me to develop it. Now, they have given me time to tell the story. I am confident that I can narrate a perfect full-length story. I want to do the film in the middle of next year. ”

‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu,’ directed by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s ardent admirer Gautham Menon, is a critically acclaimed film in his oeuvre. GVM confirmed plans for ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu 2’ in 2020. Kamal most recently appeared in ‘Vikram,’ a sequel of his 1986 film directed by his fanboy Lokesh Kanagaraj. In September, the iconic actor will continue filming for his other sequel, ‘Indian 2.’
