A fire broke out in a theater in Kalapet, Puducherry June 7 night. The video of the screen getting ablaze became a web sensation via social media as netizens shared it. Apparently during the screening of the film ‘Vikram‘, the theater screen burst into flames. No wounds were accounted for and the required examination uncovered that the screen burst into flames because of a short circuit.

According to media reports, the theater screen was totally destroyed. Anyway as indicated by reports, the police officials expressed that they had not gotten any official complaint with respect to the matter.

The Puducherry theater burst into flames while screening ‘Vikram’. The screen burst into flames just at the peak of the film when Suriya role was about to start. Fans were hesitant to leave the theater lobby as they would have rather not missed the peak in the film.

The film is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. ‘Vikram’ featured Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. Narain, Kalidas Jayaram and Arjun Das assumed supporting parts in the film. Suriya showed up as a cameo and his presence in the film’s peak set out him the freedom to get everyone’s attention. It has previously been accounted for that Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj are anticipating the continuation of the film ‘Vikram 3’ with Suriya playing the main bad guy. There are additionally reports that the film will have Fahadh Faasil and Karthi in lead roles.

The film was released on 3rd June and is doing a great success at the box office.
