Dhanush pens an emotional note as he completes 20 yrs in the film industry

Dhanush has finished twenty years in the film industry on, May 9. The Asuran actor has worked in more than 46 movies over his vocation. The actor took to Twitter and wrote a long note note expressing gratitude toward his fans and family for the help.

Dhanush made his acting debut with Thulluvadho Ilamai, a 2002 movie directed by his dad, Kasthuri Raja. ‘Never did I even dream I’d come this far,’ Dhanush wrote in a moving post.

He further thanked his fans for all the support and called them his ‘pillar of strength’. The Maari actor went on to thank the media, producers, director, his brother Selvaraghavan and everyone who was and are a part of his 2-decade long journey.

“I read somewhere that life is what happens when you are busy doing other things. I can’t agree more. Let’s make this one life meaningful. Let’s make it count,” he ended the letter with.

In the mean time, his forthcoming movie, Thiruchitrambalam with director Mithran Jawahar will hit the screens on July 1, 2022. The film is produced by Sun Pictures and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.

On the work front, Dhanush was most recently seen in ‘Maaran’ and his film ‘Thiruchitambalam’ is preparing for its release in theaters on July 1. This will be Dhanush’s first film in quite a while after the COVID pandemic breakout in 2020. His past movies – ‘Jagame Thandhiram’ ‘Karnan’, ‘Maaran’ and ‘Atrangi Re‘ were totally released on OTT. The last film of Dhanush that was released in theaters was ‘Asuran’ in 2019.
