Dhruva Natchathiram, the long-delayed project from directors Gautham Menon and Chiyaan Vikram, is one of the most eagerly anticipated projects. Since the beginning, the movie has been holding a tremendous reputation. The movie has been delayed a number of times for various reasons, but now that the director has provided a new update, fans are ecstatic.
Gautham Menon shared a few pics with Vikram on his Instagram page and captioned, “The stars will align!”. The movie will reportedly wrap up soon and move on to post-production work. The movie is anticipated to hit theatres this summer very soon. An official confirmation is still pending, though. Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma, and Simran also play key roles in the film in addition to the South star. Ishari K. Ganesh and Menon collaborated on its co-production, and Menon wrote the script.

Gautham originally revealed Dhruva Natchathiram with Suriya playing the lead. However, the pre-production phase’s artistic differences strained the partnership. In 2013, Suriya published an open letter outlining his reasons for leaving Gautham’s project. Although it initially appeared that the two would never work together again, they patched things up and collaborated on Netflix’s Navarasa.
In the meantime, Simbu and Gautham Menon are working on their upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu. The movie will debut in theatres on September 16. On the other side, Vikram is anticipating the release of the suspense film Cobra. The movie, which is directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and also stars Srinidhi Shetty, has music by A.R. Rahman. The actor has two more films scheduled, including the historical drama Mahavir Karna and the Ponniyin Selvan film directed by Mani Ratnam and starring Aishwarya Rai.
