The Telugu classic Chakram, in which Prabhas starred, was released in 2005. Despite the movie’s poor box office performance, it eventually became a cult favorite. After the hugely successful action and romance film Varsham, which is the largest super hit in Tollywood, the content-focused film completely caught spectators off guard. However, did you realize that Chakram was never meant to occur? Yes, Prabhas chose this movie, which Krishna Vamsi, the Chakram director, stated was very personal to him.

According to the director, Prabhas decided on Varsham because he wanted to do a performance- and content-driven film after Varsham’s popularity. Like other directors, Prabhas was contacted by Krishna Vamsi to star in a straight-up action film, but the actor declined, saying he preferred to play a character with good acting potential. At that point, Krishna Vamshi created the Chakram script.

Prabhas, Asin, and Charmme Kaur play the main characters in Chakram. In the movie, Prabhas plays a cancer patient who spends his final days helping the sick, elderly, and less fortunate. The movie was a past winner of two Nandi Awards.

In the meantime, Prabhas has Project K with filmmaker Nag Ashwin, which also features Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. In the big-budget, all-Indian movie Adipurush, which also stars Sunny Singh, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, he will be seen playing the part of Lord Ram. Together with Prashanth Neel and Shruti Haasan, the actor is currently engaged in filming Salaar.

After finishing these three films, Prabhas will start filming Spirit, a film by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Our information indicates that he is also collaborating with the filmmaker Maruthi on the supernatural action movie Raja Deluxe. Anushka Shetty and Malavika Mohanan are potential candidates for female leads.
