Kerala Story Director With Controversial Remark That North Kerala Is A Terrorist Network

Mumbai Sudeepto Sen, the director of the film ‘The Kerala Story’, described North Kerala as a base for terrorist networks. Sudeepto Sen has come forward with controversial remarks against the northern regions of Kerala, which are bordered by South Karnataka. The statement was made at a press conference held in Mumbai.

“One part of Kerala is beautiful and the other part is a base for terrorist networks. There are two Keralas within Kerala. The former is blessed with Kalaripayat, dancing backwaters, and beautiful landscapes. Second, Malappuram, which borders South Karnataka, and North Kerala, which includes Kozhikode and Kasaragod, is a terrorist network,” said Sudeepto Sen.The Kerala Story got into a controversy after the teaser that 32,000 women were converted and joined IS. People including political parties came in support of the movie.
