RJ Rachana died before coming to the hospital. The news about Rachana’s death has left the Kannada media and film industry in shock. The famous Kannada RJ Rachana, 39, passed on from heart failure on Tuesday while she was taken to the hospital in the wake of suffering multiple episodes of chest pain. Rachana complained of chest pain at her residence in Bengaluru’s JP Nagar. According to media reports, Rachana died prior to coming to the hospital and was announced dead on arrival at the hospital.
Actress Swetha Changappa took to online media to share her gratitude. “She was one of my favorite RJ. Very sensible, her command over language was too good. I have never met her in person before. Feeling disheartened to say that I will never get a chance to meet her in the future. Very very sad to know that she is no more,” she posted on her Instagram account.
RJ, TV host and actor Niranjan Deshpande expressed, “Seriously It’s shocking news. Still not able to believe. RIP Rachana,” on Instagram.
Rachana came to highlight through her work on radio. However, she had quit radio jockeying about three years ago. She had also appeared in the 2013 Kannada movie Simple Agi Ondh Love Story, which had Rakshit Shetty in the lead.
Rakshit Shetty too expressed his gratitude on his online media portal. He inscribed “You will be fondly remembered #RJRachana! Sending my deepest condolences to the family. Om shanti!”
Rachana’s mortal remains will be taken to her parent’s home, Chamrajpete, Bengaluru.
