Bollywood film 3 Idiots featuring Aamir Khan, Madhavan, and Sharman Joshi needs no introduction. The film turned into the greatest hit of Indian film and has remained a cult classic. After the humongous reaction, the film got in Hindi and Tamil, there were solid reports of the Kannada remake too. Late actor Puneeth Rajkumar was going to portray Aamir Khan’s character. In those days, this news got fans so particularly energized as they have never seen the actor in such a role previously. The Powerstar was to make his own Rancho in the redo that should have been, apparently, created by KRG Studios with an interesting gathering star cast set up.

This news has come up as a big excitement to the fanatics of Sandalwood, as it previously had its Tamil and Telugu versions. In Tamil, the movie was directed by Shankar, and it had Thalapathy Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, and Iliyana as the lead actors. The same movie was dubbed in Telugu. The news was just hearsay and left fans disappointed. It would have been a memorable role if Puneeth made 3 idiots in Kannada.

Truth be told after Puneeth Rajkumar died, Aamir remembered the actor for his warmth and sincerity as he paid a tribute. Aamir wrote, “Appu entertained us through his films, but above all else, he won us all with his warmth, sincerity, and passion. Thank you Puneeth, for all the love that you showered on all of us. May your soul rest in peace, dear friend. My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family”.

In the interim, the late Puneeth Rajkumar‘s last film James is preparing for the great release on his birthday, March 17. James will release across 400 screens in Karnataka and the action film will have a continuous dramatic run for seven days. James will release in five dialects – Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.
