Kaappaan is a Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by K. V. Anand and co-written by Pattukkottai Prabakar. It is produced by Lyca Productions and stars Suriya, Mohanlal, Arya, and Sayyeshaa. The film will be released theatrically on 20 September 2019 along with a Telugu dubbed version titled Bandobast.
