Mozhi, a melodic rom-com, written and helmed by Radha Mohan, hit screens on February 2007. The film had Jyotika, Prithviraj, Prakash Raj, and Swarnamalya as the lead star cast alongwith Brahmanandam and MS Bhaskar assuming major parts. While Vidyasagar scored the music for the film, the cinematography was by KV Guhan and editing by Kasi Viswanathan.
Radha Mohan composed the content keeping in mind Jyotika It is said that the director composed the personality of Archana, a hearing and speech impaired woman, in view of Jyotika. The song Kannal Pesum Penne was a redo version of his hit Malayalam number ‘Elamankanniloode… I Am Thinking of You’ from the Malayalam film Satyam Shivam Sundaram.
