The actor is the first presence from South India in Yash Raj Films Spy Universe, which is setting the stage for the biggest gathering of superstars in the history of Indian cinema. Earlier there were reports that there is a second part of Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff’s ‘Vaari’. It was confirmed yesterday that Hrithik will be a part of the film which will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. Directed by Siddharth Anand, War was also the highest-grosser of 2019. Hrithik was a ‘raw agent’ named Major Kabir in the film. The possibility of a pan-Indian release increases with the addition of Jr. NTR. After ‘RRR’, Aditya Chopra is expanding the spy universe to South India as well as capitalizing on the nationwide acceptance of the actor. ‘War 2’ will be based on the events from the story of ‘Tiger 3’ which is currently in production.
The films released in the Tiger series are ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ released in 2012 and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ in 2017. Salman played the role of ‘Raw Agent’ Tiger in the film. Shah Rukh Khan is appearing in a cameo role in the upcoming ‘Tiger 3’. Salman also appeared in a guest role in Pathan. Ahead of the January 25 release of Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’, producer Yash Raj Films owner Aditya Chopra announced Spy Universe. Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor have been a part of the Spy Universe movies so far.
