Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor began filming for Siddharth Anand’s action-packed aerial thriller, Fighter, at the end of November. The trio spent ten days at the Assam Airbase in Tezpur filming major emotional and action sequences. And now, we can exclusively reveal that after a wrap at the Airbase, Hrithik Roshan donated his gym equipment to the officer’s mess gym.

“Hrithik often carries a functional gym set up to work out during his shooting schedule to continue with his intensive workout regime for the film. The gift was a token of gratitude by Hrithik for the defense force officials. The actor upgraded the existing gym at the Airbase, with a number of workout equipment,” revealed a source close to the development. Hrithik also makes equipment such as a lat pull-down, preacher, leg extension, rowing machine, squat rack, and leg press available to Air Base officials on a permanent basis.

For the first time in his career, Hrithik Roshan plays an Air Force Officer in this movie. His persona is that of a twinjet multirole air superiority fighter pilot. Deepika will also appear in the film as an Air Force Officer who is skilled at handling chopper jets. The film marks Hrithik and Deepika’s first collaboration, and it is set to hit theatres during the Republic Day weekend in 2024.

Fighter, India’s first aerial action franchise, is produced by Marflix in collaboration with Viacom 18. After Bang Bang and War, this is Siddharth Anand’s third collaboration with Hrithik. Ramon Chibb, an ex-Army officer, co-wrote the script with Siddharth Anand. Anil Kapoor, on the other hand, plays a mentor, and we will have more information on that shortly.
