On Tuesday, Netflix announced that the Hindi version of Kantara would be available on the OTT platform on Friday (December 9). The movie’s principal actor and director is Rishab Shetty. After the film’s September 30 Kannada premiere, which was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews from both audiences and reviewers, it was made available in other languages.
Following the overwhelmingly favorable word-of-mouth reviews, Kantara—which was first released on September 30 in Kannada—was also released in other important Indian languages. Recently, the movie made its OTT debut. Its Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil versions are already accessible on Amazon Prime Video. It was eagerly anticipated to learn more about the OTT debut of its Hindi version.

In terms of box office, the movie enjoyed a legendary run. Its Hindi version brought in a total of Rs. 76cr. The Hindi version of Kantara broke even at Rs. 7.50cr. As of November 15, the movie had earned a return of more than Rs. 68 crores, or 913.13%. The Hindi version of the movie is unquestionably a successful endeavor because it experienced strong foot traffic after that.
Apart from Shetty, the film also stars Kishore, Achyuth Kumar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pramod Shetty in important roles. It was bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner, who also bankrolled the KGF franchise.
