The second part of the Drishyam, which has changed the history of Malayalam cinema itself, is being prepared. After the lockdown, Mohanlal is going to act for the first time in Drishyam 2. The shooting of the film will start on September 14. Filming will begin with tight security in place against the backdrop of the spread of COVID.
From the beginning to the end of the shooting of the film, the entire crew of the group will be quarantined. After Covid’s inspection, the entire cast of the film, including Mohanlal, will be accommodated in a single hotel at the respective locations till the end of the shooting schedule. Those who buy groceries, security guards, and outsiders to the set will not be able to contact them. No one in the group will be allowed to leave until the shooting is over.
The first part of the scene where Mohanlal and Meena played the lead roles was well received. The collection of the scene was breaking all the records that the Malayalam cinema had achieved till then. The first part was directed by Jeethu Joseph himself and the second part is directed by him. It is learned that most of the players who reached the first part are also in the second part. The second part is being produced by Antony Perumbavoor himself under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas. Since the film’s release in 2013, several murders have been reported, similar to those in the film.
