Filmmaker and singer Pamela Chopra passed away. She was the wife of famous Bollywood director and producer Yash Chopra. He was 74 years old. He died in Mumbai on Thursday. Yash Raj Films officially issued a press release on Thursday morning announcing the death. “Seventy-four-year-old Pamela Chopra passed away this morning. The funeral took place at 11 am. The family thanks for the prayers. The family wants privacy,” YRF said in a note published on social media.
Lyricist and poet Javed Akhtar paid tribute to Pamela Chopra in a tweet and remembered her. “Today Mr. Yash Chopra’s better half Pam G passed away. She was a wonderful woman. She was intelligent, educated, warm, and humorous. Those who have worked closely with Yash Ji are aware of his contributions to screenplays, film music, and more.
