Farhan Akhtar’s daughter Akira and Shakya enjoying at the father’s wedding; see pics

Farhan Akhtar’s daughter Akira and Shakya were in the frontline at their dad’s wedding in Khandala. The actor-movie director wedded singer-actor Shibani Dandekar in a private wedding function. Only family and a couple of companions in Khandala on Saturday were invited. Akira and Shakya are Farhan’s little girls with his ex and celebrity hairstylist Adhuna Bhabani. Farhan and Adhuna got married in the year 2000 and they got separated in 2017. In one of the photos, posted by Farhan, Akira and Shakya are posing with their father. In one more shot, they should be visible moving their hearts out. They additionally highlight the family photograph posted by Farhan on Instagram. He inscribed the post: “Friends. Family. Fun times.”

Farhan Akhtar, sharing his wedding collection on Instagram, wrote in his subtitle: “A few days ago, Shibani Dandekar and I celebrated our union and we are deeply grateful to all those who did respect our need for privacy on the day. The celebration, however, is incomplete without sharing some precious moments with you and seeking your blessings as we begin our journey across the skies of time, together. With love from us to you.”

After the Khandala service hung on Saturday, the couple got their wedding registered in Mumbai on Monday. They later went to an evening gathering at Zoya Akhtar’s home that very evening.

On the work front

Farhan Akhtar’s last task was Toofan, which was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The actor will likewise direct a film called Jee Le Zaraa, featuring Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif.

Farhan Akhtar, who ventured into Bollywood as a director, is most popular for directing movies like Dil Chahta Hai, the Don series, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Lakshya.
