In startling news, prominent Telugu dubbing artist A Srinivasamurthy died yesterday, on January 27 because of a heart arrest. According to reports, he was suffering from health concerns when he died at his home in Chennai. After knowing about Srinivasamurthy’s sudden demise, actor Suriya took to Twitter and wrote, “This is a huge personal loss! Srinivasamurthy Garu’s voice & emotions gave life to my performances in Telugu. Will miss you, Dear Sir! Gone too soon.”
For the uninitiated, Srinivasamurthy has been dubbed for Suriya in a number of Telugu films. He rose to prominence by dubbing Tamil star Suriya’s persona in all of his Telugu flicks. Srinivasamurthy was the constant pick for all of Suriya’s Telugu films. He is also recognized for lending his voice to the characters of Tamil actors such as Ajith and Chiyaan Vikram.

He was dubbed for Malayalam icon Mohanlal in Telugu, as well as Kannada actor Upendra in Telugu. Over 1000 films were dubbed by him. In other events, J Jamuna, a veteran actor, and former legislator died on Friday morning. Jamuna, 86, was suffering from an ailment associated with old age.
Many Tollywood celebrities, including Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, and Nandamuri Balakrishna, flocked to social media to express their condolences on the renowned actor’s passing.
