It’s been a few months since people working in the film industry started raising concerns about people not coming to the theaters to watch C Nima. The complaint is that there are no people to watch Malayalam films while foreign language films often get huge collections from Kerala. But rare films also become big hits. With more than seventy films released so far this year, only Romancham has achieved significant success. But after a long gap, now another Malayalam movie is getting positive word-of-mouth publicity. Fahadh Faasil in the titular role and directed by debutant Akhil Sathyan, Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum is getting a good response in the theaters.
According to various box office trackers, the film collected 3.63 crores from Kerala in the first four days. The film grossed over 1 crore in two days. These are reassuring numbers for the film industry considering the recent box office performance of Malayalam films. Pachum Vihwavilak is the last film of Innocent. Mukesh, Nandu, Indrans, Altaf, Viji Venkatesh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Dhwani Rajesh, Vineeth, Mohan Akash, Chaya Kadam, Piyush Kumar, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Avyukth Menon, and many other stars have acted in the film. The film is produced by Sethu Mannarkad under the banner of Full Moon Cinema. The film has been released in theaters by Kalasangam release.
