DJ Tillu Review

DJ Tillu takes off amazingly with reviving plot and scandalous screenplay. Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s dialogues and his ease in performance set the theme in the right mode in the first few scenes. The contemporary melodies add to the stream and the initial 50 minutes of the film is a breeze. After the accidental murder of her boyfriend, Radhika seeks Tillu’s help and the couple is on the run as they get pursued by a professional drinker (Narra Srinu), a club owner (Prince Cecil), and a police officer (Brahmaji). With everything set up for the makings of an incredible performer – the second burns out because of presumptuous composition and absence of a drawing in the plot.

Fun reality – we can see DJ Tillu doing everything apart from the real DJ work. Basically a crime comedy classification, the film doesn’t have anything to do with his calling – so you can’t help thinking about why the title alludes to a ‘DJ’ job. Director Vimal Krishna has succeeded in getting the youth elements correct in initial episodes but seems clueless in executing the ‘On the run’ script.  Court episodes with Pragati as a judge are absurd, foolish writing in the pretense of comedy. Sricharan Pakala’s songs are now a nice hit and the picturization is great on a few songs. Thaman’s background score suits the DJ theme in the initial half but is very loud and annoying in the last part. Siddhu Jonnalagadda is cool most part. Neha Shetty as Radhika is extremely normal. Prince Cecil as a pervert is annoying. Brahmaji and Narra Srinu characters fail to generate any laughter.

The film DJ Tillu has an engaging first half which is stylish and associated with the young crowd. The whole final part is ludicrous and exhausting. Generally speaking, this 1 Hour 55 minutes film is a greater amount of OTT principles than the standard film. Given the pre-discharge buzz, this film could create some income in the cinematic world.
