Deepika Padukone was first cast as the heroine in Sandakozhi
Lingusamy is a director who has made a name for himself in the Tamil film industry with a string of hits. Lingusamy’s arrival was 22 years ago with the Mammootty film Anandam. Lingusamy’s Sandakozhi was also a hit. Lingusamy says that Deepika Padukone was initially considered for the lead role in the film starring Vishal and Meera Jasmine.
