According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Dasara, starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh, had a solid opening day, earning Rs 17 crore net. This number reflects the movie’s earnings in many languages, including Telugu and dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. In the Hindi region, Dasara will compete against Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa. Ante Sundaraniki (2022), Nani’s most recent film, made Rs 7.3 crore on its first day of release in Telugu with dubs in Tamil and Malayalam.
The movie only managed to earn Rs 19.97 crore during its whole existence, despite receiving favorable reviews. Jersey (2019), Nani’s most well-known movie in recent years, was only released in Telugu but debuted with Rs 6.95 crore and garnered Rs 33.65 crore over its first weekend. Dasara, Nani’s debut release on the national level of India, was advertised as the next big Telugu movie following the box office triumphs of Pushpa: The Rising and RRR. Audience members were led to believe by Dasara’s advertising might be related to Rangasthalam, Pushpa, or KGF.
