Delhi High Court Enforces Ban on Unlawful Use of Anil Kapoor’s Name, Image, and Voice for Commercial Exploitation Without Consent In response to Anil Kapoor’s petition, Delhi High Court has prohibited the unauthorized use of Anil Kapoor’s name, voice, signature, and image for commercial purposes across various platforms. The actor sought to safeguard his personal rights and requested a permanent ban on such usage. A bench led by Justice Pratibha M Singh presided over the case.

The court’s orders specifically prohibit the manipulation of the actor’s image through artificial intelligence and the unauthorized use of his image, emphasizing the importance of protecting his privacy. Additionally, the court urged the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to issue directives for the removal of videos featuring morphed images of the actor. It also emphasized that sharing such videos and related links is strictly prohibited moving forward.
