The High Court has stayed the further proceedings in the case of fraud against Bollywood actress Sunny Leone. The High Court has stayed the further proceedings in the case that Sunny Leone cheated by making an agreement to participate in the Valentine’s Day event in Kochi in February 2019. This order of the High Court was considered by the petition filed by the actress.

Shias Kunju Muhammad, a native of Perumbavoor, filed a complaint against Sunny Leone. But Sunny Leone filed a petition in the High Court demanding that the case registered by the Crime Branch be Canceled. The show was to be held in Kozhikode on May 11, 2018. They agreed to pay Rs 30 lakh for it and paid Rs 15 lakh in advance. But the show had to be postponed several times due to bad weather.

Finally, in 2019, the organizers were ready to hold a show in Kochi on Valentine’s Day. Therefore, he published the information about the show through his social media account. He also requested to pay the full amount before the month of January 2019, but the organizers did not pay. Therefore, the petition submitted by Sunny Leone states that the show was not held. And the complainant had also moved a civil suit with the same allegations which was dismissed by a Magistrate Court in July 2022 for want of evidence.
