According to the latest reports, megastar Mammootty and Popular Actress Anushka Shetty will be joining for a romantic film. The movie will be directed by Sharrath Sandith, who made his directorial debut earlier this year with ‘Parole’, also starring Mammootty.
Reportedly, Sharrath was supposed to direct the Mammootty-Anushka film first but it didn’t work out then due to some unknown reasons. If news about this new film turns out to be true, it will be refreshing to see Mammootty and Anushka together on screen. An official confirmation regarding the project is still awaited.
Mammootty has a long list of promising films coming up. He is currently working on two films – Vyasakh’s ‘Madura Raja’ and Khalid Rahman’s ‘Unda’. He had recently completed his portions for the YSR biopic ‘Yatra’ and has already finished a couple of
schedules for the epic period film ‘Maamankam’. He has also signed for a new film with director Vinod Vijayan, titled as ‘Ameer’. Another film in the pipeline is the Ramesh Pisharody directorial ‘Ganagandharvan’. ‘Bilal’, sequel to the star’s 2007 film’ ‘Big B’ has also been announced.
