Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has been performing admirably at the Indian box office. The movie had a strong start at the ticket counters, continued to grow throughout the weekend, and has held steady during the workweek. On its sixth day, the movie made Rs. 150 crores (net) in India, and it is already rapidly approaching the Rs. 200 crore threshold, which is anticipated to be crossed somewhere in the second week. After Sanju, Brahmastra will be Ranbir Kapoor’s second movie to gross above Rs. 200 crores. For Alia, it will be her second movie—after RRR—to gross more than Rs. 200 crores in India.
