This is the second movie by Shashank Khaitan to be pushed back to 2023. Prior to this, his Shanaya Kapoor, Laksh, and Gurfateh Pirzada-starring directorial Bedhadak were also rescheduled. Even Bedhadak was reportedly shelved, but the producers later explained that it had been moved until the beginning of the next year.

The Bollywood debut of Rashmika Mandanna is eagerly anticipated, especially by followers of South Indian cinema. The movie was finished filming and was originally scheduled to hit theatres in June of this year, but it has been delayed. The revised release date for it has not yet been disclosed by the creators.
