When Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi made their relationship official a little over a month ago, it quickly went viral online. However, since Modi altered his Instagram bio and profile image, rumours about their breakup have begun to circulate. On July 14 of this year, the business tycoon and founder of the IPL revealed his relationship with Sushmita online.
Proclaiming his love for the former Miss Universe, he also changed his profile picture on Instagram, along with his bio. It read, “founder @iplt20 (Indian tricolour emoji) INDIAN PREMIERE LEAGUE (cricket emoji) finally starting a new life with my partner in crime. My love @sushmitasen47.” But now that circumstances have changed, there are rumours of a breakup. Modi erased the section about Sushmita from both his bio and his display photo. The pair hasn’t released any public statements, though.
Recently, Sushmita was frequently seen with her ex-fling Rohman Shawl, which prompted online users to wonder about Lalit Modi. Sushmita and Rohman still get along well despite having split up last year. Lalit Modi posted a tonne of photos from their vacation in July with Sushmita on his Instagram account. Alongside the images, he added, “Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families – not to mention my #better looking partner @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon. In love does not mean marriage yet. But one that by God’s grace will happen. I just announced that we are together”

Trolls referred to Sushmita as a “money digger” shortly after the news of their relationship was silenced by her with an appropriate note. The Aarya actress wrote, “I dig deeper than Gold… and I’ve always (famously) preferred Diamonds!! And yes I still buy them myself!!! I love the all heart support my well-wishers & loved ones continue to extend. Please know, your Sush is ABSOLUTELY fine.. cause I’ve never lived on the transient borrowed light of approval & applause. I am the Sun….perfectly Centred in my being & my conscience!! I love you guys!!!”
