Lalit Modi, the former IPL chairman, has revealed that he is dating Sushmita Sen, a Bollywood actress, and former Miss Universe. The actress was referred to as Modi’s “better half” and the announcement was made as a “new beginning” in a sequence of photographs posted on Twitter on Thursday. Modi served as the first chairman of the Indian T20 tournament.

Modi, who founded the Indian Premier League, went on to say that he and the woman are only “dating,” not engaged. “just to be clear. Just dating each other, not Wed. One day, that will also occur ” he tweeted. Modi was earlier married to Minal Sagrani in October of 1991. They had two children together – son Ruchir and daughter Aliya. Modi is also a stepfather to Karima Sagrani, from Minal’s first marriage. Unfortunately, Minal lost her life to cancer in 2018.

Sen, meanwhile, recently posted images from her Maldives holiday. With her daughters, she had traveled to the island country. According to Modi’s declaration, he may have traveled with the former Miss Universe as well. Sushmita talked about her decision to postpone marriage and the factors that contributed to it last month. She disclosed that she almost got married three times, but “God saved” her each time.
Sushmita previously dated the model Rohman Shawl, whom she first connected with on Instagram in 2018. They split up last year. “We were friends before, and we are still friends! The love endures,” she had written in a post on her Instagram account. The romance was long over.
