Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar’s trailer was released a days back. The trailer has gotten a positive reaction from the crowd. While the fans are anxiously waiting for the release of the film. The will is supposed to release in theaters in this month itself. But, now the film is facing a legal trouble over the depiction of a prenatal sex-determination scene in the trailer. In the film, the Gully Boy star plays the role of a Gujarati man named Jayeshbhai Patel wedded to Mudra Patel (played by Shalini Pandey), who is battling to save the life of his unborn young lady kid.
As per the Live Law, Jayeshbhai Jordaar has been tested by the Delhi Court in regards to the scenes in the trailer. The supplication recorded by advocate Pawan Prakash Pathak says the portrayal of prenatal sex-determination is ‘legally restricted.’ He also trusts that the scene will be ‘deleted on grounds of promoting prohibited activities.’
In the mean time, the film is scheduled to hit the big screens on 13 May this year. Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma has bankrolled the film under Yash Raj Films. Divyang Thakkar has made a debut in direction with Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Aside from Ranveer and Shalini, the film likewise stars Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Deeksha Joshi assuming supporting roles.
Aside from this, Ranveer Singh has many projects in his kitty. He will be seen next in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The Bajirao Mastani actor has Rohit Shetty‘s Cirkus and the Hindi redo of the Tamil film, Anniyan.
