With horror comedies gaining attention in Bollywood currently, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are ready with a quirky ghost film. On Tuesday, makers of Phone Bhoot announced the film’s release date in yet another quirky way.M ore than a year since they began shooting on Phone Bhoot, Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter’s horror comedy film’s first official look came today. Ever since the film was announced, fans of the actors have been excited to see the trio on the big screen.
Sharing Phone Bhoot’s true banner, maker Farhan Akhtar tweeted, “#PhoneBhoot ki duniya mein aapka swagat hai. Arriving on 7th Oct, 2022 at cinemas near you. #KatrinaKaif #IshaanKhatter @SiddyChats @bindasbhidu #SheebaChaddha @EkThapaTiger #SurenderThakur @gurmmeet @excelmovies @ritesh_sid @raviivar @JasvinderBath.” The cast also dropped the banner with the same inscription as Farhan.
In the banner, we get to see Katrina and Ishaan donning a bit unique look. Ishaan also added, “Meet my quirkiest character, Gullu – and try to guess his full name.” Aside from Katrina, Ishaan and Siddhant, the banner includes Jackie Shroff, Sheeba Chaddha, Nidhi Bisht and Surender Thakur as the ghosts in the background

Discussing the movie, Phone Bhoot is being directed by Gurmmeet Singh and composed by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film is being bankrolled by Excel Entertainment, and is scheduled to dramatically release on 7 October, 2022. Phone Bhoot has been making a good buzz around the corners owing to the fun ensemble who are coming together for the first time.
