Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘GoodLuck Jerry’ trailer released

Janhvi Kapoor has returned with a comedic drama after her previous appearance in the horror-comedy Roohi. The trailer for the movie, GoodLuck Jerry, which stars the starlet alongside more seasoned performers, was released by the producers on Thursday. Helmed by Siddharth Sen, the film is a remake of the Tamil movie Kolamaavu Kokila and will include actors such as Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, and Sushant Singh in prominent parts.

Fans were excited as the producers this week released a small teaser for the movie. The GoodLuck Jerry trailer was made available on Thursday. According to a post made on social media, Janhvi wrote, “FINALLY! Miliye Jerry se. Aur yaad rakhiye- hum jitne dikhte hain, utne hain nahi #GoodLuckJerry streaming from 29th July on @disneyplushotstar #TrailerOutNow.”

The clip shows Janhvi, or Jaya Kumari, entering the drug trade to support her lung cancer-stricken mother. Jaya’s role, who is from Bihar and is set in Punjab, follows her development from a regular girl preparing momos to becoming involved in the criminal trade. Sushant Singh plays the kingpin of this trade, while Deepak Dobriyal plays the humorous street lover.

On July 29, 2022, GoodLuck Jerry will debut on Disney+Hotstar. Due to the pandemic, Janhvi’s films have tended to be more extravagant than those of her colleagues. Her most recent movie, Roohi, was released in theatres in 2021 but earned a poor rating from critics.

In addition to this, Janhvi will appear in Boney Kapoor’s Mili, a remake of the Malayalam movie Helen. Additionally, she will work once again with Rajkummar Rao on Mr. and Mrs. Mahi. In addition, Janhvi is now collaborating with Varun Dhawan on Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal.
