Alia Bhatt is good to go to make her debut as a maker with her very first creation Darlings. On Tuesday, the film’s first look was shared by the diva which stars herself, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Matthew in a thrilling group cast. The film is directed by Jasmeet K Reen. Alia Bhatt is likewise co-creating Darlings with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. This denotes her second time collaboration with the whiz after Dear Zindagi.
Dropping the first look at the film, Alia declared, “It’s just a tease Darlings. Arriving 5th August #DarlingsOnNetflix.” The Netflix film’s teaser is more than minute long. It features the four actors as well as a story of the famous frog and scorpion fable in Hindi.

Set in Mumbai, Darlings is set to be a particular dim satire films that spins around the life of a mother and a daughter relationship. Shefali Shah will be seen playing Alia Bhatt’s mom in the film while Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew will be seen in vital roles. The teaser shows a romantic track between Vijay Varma and Alia Bhatt’s characters. Helmed by debutant director Jasmeet K Reen, the music for the film is made by filmmaker and composer Vishal Bhardwaj.
