Akshay Kumar is well known actor in Bollywood film industry. He is perhaps of the most active actor in Bollywood and has a fascinating line-up of movies ahead. The actor has been administering the business for quite a few years at this point and he has conveyed many blockbuster films. The Sooryavanshi actor, who was as of late seen in Samrat Prithviraj with Manushi Chhillar is at present preparing for his next movie Raksha Bandhan, which is coordinated by Aanand L Rai and is scheduled to hit venues on 11 August 2022.
Raksha Bandhan is Akshay’s second collaboration with director Aanand L Rai after their 2021 release Atrangi Re featuring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the lead roles. Akshay will also be sharing the screen second time with Bhumi after their 2017 release Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.
Recently, the actor was in London for the book launch of Hindujas and Bollywood, where he talked at the Institue of Directors at Pall Mall. Akshay was questioned as to whether he wishes to join politics, to which, he denied it and said: “I am very happy making films… As an actor, I do whatever possible to take up social issues. I have produced 150 films, the one nearest to my heart is Raksha Bandhan,”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will star next in the action-adventure film, Ram Setu. The film stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead roles. The film will release in theaters on 24 October 2022. He also has the comedy-drama film, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2 co-starring Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, and Arun Govil playing important parts. Akshay also has Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi and the yet-to-titled Soorarai Pottru remake.
