Ajay Devgan’s upcoming film ‘Thank God‘ with Siddharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh will release in the theaters on October 25. The film is directed by Indra Kumar. The film has Siddharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles. Ajay Devgn has announced that the advance booking of the fantasy comedy film ‘Thank God” has started.

Film’s trailer was dropped in September and from that time the film has landed in trouble. The film is receiving trolls for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. As per recent reports,  the makers have made a couple of changes before the release.  The film has also been awarded a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with three modifications.

According to the reports, Ajay Devgn’s character’s name has been changed from Chitragupta to CJ. A shot of visuals of offering a sweet to the idol of Lord Hanuman was replaced with a back shot angle. The name of a liquor brand was made blurred and the disclaimer was modified and its duration was increased so that the audience can read it properly. Ajay Devgn’s Thank God will lock horns at the box office with Ram Setu which is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 24. Ram Setu stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshay Kumar.

Ajay Devgn’s Hindi remake of Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 2 is another film to be released. Abhishek Pathak is directing the film ‘Drishyam 2’ which will hit the theaters on November 18. The cinematographer of the film is Sudhir K Chaudhary. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director.
