The eagerly anticipated movie Laal Singh Chaddha was just released. Well, the movie, which had Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in key roles, did poorly at the box office and was trolled by the social media boycott culture. Aamir has already talked about this movie’s streaming rights and how every filmmaker should distribute their movies roughly six months after their theatrical debuts. However, according to recent speculations, the PK star may be in some problems with Laal Singh Chaddha’s OTT release due to the film’s disastrous box office performance.

Aamir Khan was in negotiations with Netflix for the streaming rights of Laal Singh Chaddha, according to the reports. However, it appears right now that the transaction has failed. Aamir had requested a six-month window and quoted Rs 150 crore prior to the movie’s release since he wanted to release it in China as well. The streaming behemoth reportedly made him an offer of Rs. 50 crore and asked him to shorten the 6-month window. Later, the PK actor reduced his demand to Rs 125 crore because he was optimistic about Laal Singh Chaddha’s box office performance.

But the streaming giant reportedly lost interest in buying the movie because it did not do well at the box office. The movie’s creators apparently haven’t found any takers, so the studio that funded the production is now preparing to distribute it on one of the group’s streaming services.

Anupam Kher, an actor who has starred alongside Aamir Khan in cult classics like Dil, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, and others, recently made fun of him and discussed his contentious 2015 statement against intolerance. The Kashmir Files actor continued, mocking Aamir’s remark about intolerance, “If you have said something in the past, it will surely haunt you.”
