Beloved American Actor Treat Williams Dies In Shocking Bike Accident

American actor and writer Treat Williams died in a bike accident in Vermont, USA. Williams’ bike collided with an SUV in a parking lot in Dorset. He was airlifted to the hospital but could not be saved. Vermont State Police responded that Williams attempted to avoid a collision with the SUV, which had turned into a parking lot. Williams was thrown from the vehicle by the force of the thunder. He was pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, the police said in a statement. The driver of the SUV that was involved in the accident was injured.

A police investigation is in progress. The actor’s full name is Richard Treat Williams. Treat Williams lived in Manchester Center, Southern Vermont. His agent Barry McPherson confirmed the death. Treat made his film debut in the 1975 film Deadly Hero, playing the role of a policeman. Then acted in more than 12 films and television shows. Directed by Steven Spielberg, in 1941, The Eagle Has Landed, Prince of the City, Once Upon a Time in America, Venomous, 127 Hours, and Hair are just a few of the films he starred in. He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for his performance as a hippie leader in the 1979 film Hair. Although he appeared in a handful of television shows, he was best known for his role as Dr. Andrew Brown in Everwood, which ran from 2002 to 2006.
