Amount Earned By Shah Rukh Khan Through ‘Pathaan’ Through Profit Sharing

Shah Rukh Khan’s film did not have a predetermined reward. Rather, it was a profit-sharing agreement. The contract was for 60 percent of the profit to be made by the manufacturer. The film had a budget of 270 crores and grossed 657.85 crores from India and 392.55 crores overseas. A total of 1050.40 crores! The distributor share earned by the film from India is 245 crores and from overseas is 178 crores. Another Rs 150 crore came from the sale of satellite and digital rights and Rs 30 crore from music rights. Considering the entire income, Yash Raj Films, which invested 270 crores, got 603 crores. That means a profit of Rs 333 crore! Bollywood Hungama reports that according to the contract, Shah Rukh Khan will get 200 crores. Paathan is directed by Siddharth Anand, who directed Salaam Namaste, Anjana Anjani, Bang Bang, and War. Deepika Padukone starrer John Abraham played another important role. After more than 50 days in theaters, the film’s OTT release was on March 22 through Amazon Prime Video.
