The OTT release of Vijay’s film Varisu, which hit theaters, has been announced. The film will be released through Amazon Prime. The film will hit Prime on February 22. Available in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Amazon Prime Video itself informed the fans of the good news.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film was a Pongal release. The film opposite Ajith’s Thunivu was the biggest hit of Vijay’s career. It has already collected more than 300 crores from the global box office. The makers themselves had informed about this on February 6.
The film is a mass family entertainer. Rashmika Mandana is coming as Vijay’s heroine. In the film, Vijay plays the role of Vijay Rajendran, who becomes the owner of a multi-million dollar business empire after the death of his foster father. Sarath Kumar will play the role of the actor’s father. The film is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film also features SJ Suriya as an important character.
