Parveen Babi is one of the most glamorous stars in Bollywood. Over the course of a decade and a half, she has acted in several films as the heroine of leading actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Jitendra and Mithun Chakraborty. Parveen’s films include Deewar, Namak Halal, Amar Akbar Antony, Shan, Mary Awas Suno and Rang Birangi. She left the film in 1985 and was found dead in her home on January 22, 2005. Mahesh Bhatt’s Wom Lumhe (2006) has been accused of resembling the life story of Parveen Babi. According to reports, the two have been romantically involved in films like ‘Arth’ and ‘Fir Teri Kahani Yad’. Though Amala was in Mumbai for the shoot, she returned to Kerala soon.
