Disney Plus Hotstar released the first look of Kerala Crime Files, their first Malayalam web series. The title given in the first look poster of the first season is Shiju, Parayil Vedu, Needakara. The poster also features characters Lal and Aju Varghese playing the lead characters. But Disney Plus Hotstar has not announced the streaming date except that it will come soon. Apart from Malayalam, the series will also be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi languages.
As the name suggests, this crime-based series was announced last month. Described by the makers as the biggest web series in Malayalam, the audience will be presented with completely different crime investigation stories in each season. Each story will be presented in a completely Kerala context. The makers say that the first season will be filled with thrilling detective stories and unique acting moments that will thrill the audience. Produced by director Rahul Riji Nair (First Print Studios), this web series is directed by young director Ahmed Kabir. Ahmed Kabir is a director who gained attention with the films June and Maduram.
