Ajith Kumar, H Vinoth, and Boney Kapoor are all prepared to entertain moviegoers once more with the upcoming action comedy Thunivu following the success of Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. The makers of the eagerly anticipated drama have introduced the Telugu title Thegimpu with a new poster in anticipation of its Pongal release.
Thegimpu is the Telugu translation of Thunivu. The movie will be released in Telugu and Tamil as a dubbed version. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Thegimpu release rights have been acquired by Radha Krishna Entertainments and IVY Productions.
The fact that Thunivu will clash at the box office with Thlapathy Vijay’s family comedy Varisu is one of the reasons why the film has already generated a lot of buzz among audiences. Varisu is also a bilingual movie; Rashmika Mandanna plays the female protagonist. The Telugu version is titled Varasudu.
The highly anticipated drama Chilla Chilla’s first tune has been released by the creators. Vaisagh wrote the lyrics for the song and Ghibran composed the music. Chilla Chilla features the voice of Anirudh Ravichander. There are a few glimpses of Ajith Kumar displaying his bulky appearance with vibrant clothing and jewelry in the lyrical video for Chilla Chilla.
There have been rumors that the plot of Thunivu is based on a bank robbery; however, the filmmaker recently explained that the movie is set in an unethical environment with few villains. Samuthirakani, Veera, John Kokken, Ajay, and Cibi Chandran will all have significant roles in the movie, which stars Manju Warrier as the lead.
After completing Thunivu, Ajith Kumar will start production on the eagerly awaited drama AK62, directed by Vignesh Shivan. The project, which is funded by the production label Lyca Productions, will begin taking shape in January 2019.
