Actor Ajay Devgn will play once again the role of a cop, however, this time it will be for his debut web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. Obviously, Ajay is very well known for his onscreen work of police officers be it officer Bajirao in Singham or Superintendent Amit Kumar in Gangaajal. Yet again now, devotees of the star will see the exceptional and furious avatar in a brand show web show. Moreover, the producers of the series declared a piece of uplifting news for all Ajay Devgn fans by releasing the trailer.

The trailer of this new web series is out now. Going by the vibes of the poster, apparently Rudra: The Edge of Darkness is about a murder with Ajay tracing the killer. The Hotstar Specials series went on floors last year and was shot across iconic locales of Mumbai. The first trailer for Ajay Devgn-crime web series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness has arrived. Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, Rudra is an official Hindi remake of the hit BBC series Luther, featuring Idris Elba.

Devgn said in an assertion, “The world of digital streaming has always fascinated me, and I am excited to make my digital acting debut into long-format content with a riveting character and title such as Rudra. What enticed me about the character is his nuanced, multi-faceted personality and his grit; something that viewers have never witnessed before at this scale in Indian entertainment.”
Apart from Ajay, Raashii Khanna and Esha Deol will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the series.
