With the 2011 action film Singham, starring Ajay Devgn, Rohit Shetty laid the groundwork for the high-octane cop universe. After three years the versatile filmmaker released the film’s sequel, which was also widely acclaimed. Following that, he devoted his time to developing franchise spinoffs Simmba and Sooryavanshi. Shetty is now preparing to resurrect the Singham craze with Singham 3. Singham fans can now rejoice because Ajay Devgn is finally gearing up for the second franchise of the Rohit Shetty-directed film.
On Monday, the Tanhaji actor met Rohit to hear the narration of the upcoming film Singham Again. Ajay also shared a photo of himself and Rohit together. Ajay looked dashing in a black jacket and pants, while Rohit wore a beige shirt and brown pants as they posed for a picture together.
Taking to the captions, Ajay wrote, “Made a good start to the New Year with @itsrohitshetty ‘s narration of Singham Again. The script I heard is 🔥 God willing this will be our 11th blockbuster🙏.”

Previously, it was reported that Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3 will begin production after Ajay Devgn finishes his directorial debut, Bholaa. Surprisingly, Singham was a remake of the Tamil film Hari, which also starred Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj. Several scenes from the film have since become memes and have been used as references in films such as Thank God, starring Siddharth Malhotra.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is awaiting the release of his directorial debut, Bholaa, in which he will co-star with Tabu. Devgn was most recently seen in Drishyam 2, a critically acclaimed thriller. He also appeared in Gangubai Kathiawadi this year.
