The accused in the case of theft of gold jewelry from Tamil film director Aishwarya Rajinikanth‘s house was arrested yesterday. The housekeeper Ishwari and the driver Venkatesan were arrested by the police. The Thenampet police, investigating the case, have registered a case against Ishwari for stealing 100 gold coins, 30 grams of diamond jewelry, and 4 kg of silver. Ishwari has been working in Aishwarya’s house for 18 years.
Ishwari was familiar with the nooks and crannies of the house and knew exactly where the jewelry was kept. The police informed them that they sold the stolen jewelry and bought a house. The police have also seized documents related to the purchase of the house from Ishwari’s house.
