Aishwarya Lakshmi is happy to be a part of two big movies that have gone beyond Malayalam to Tamil. Aishwarya’s ‘Jagame Thanthiram’ with the Dhanush-Karthik Subbaraj team is all set to release on Netflix. Aishwarya is also happy to have a dream opportunity in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. “It was a very magical experience. I spent about a month and a half on Selvan’s set in Ponni. I had been preparing for the first meeting ever since Sir Mani called me. I can proudly say that I am now in the fifth and final part of the film. There was nothing more to be done for this film except to lose a little weight for ‘Jagame Tanthiram’. It was a busy two months with swimming and Bharatanatyam, but I enjoyed it.
Aishwarya says that Mani Ratnam often shot his scenes without much pressure, though he could not do as the director intended during the shooting. “When a scene has to be repeated a lot of times, I feel like a robot and I can’t function properly. He understood that and he knew exactly how to better act with me with a few changes. ”“The shoot has been put on hold since Kovid reached the second wave. Working with Money Sir is the biggest thing for me. Even if I have to stop acting after this, I will be happy forever. I never thought this would happen even in my wildest dreams, ”Aishwarya said in an interview with The Hindu.
