Adivi Sesh starrer ‘Major’ weekend BO collection worldwide

Major performed well at the box office during its first-weekend gathering of Rs. 27 crores. Shot in Telugu and Hindi, the film depends on the life of the 2008 Mumbai assaults hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Helmed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film traces the life journey of the braveheart till his sacrifice during the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The film did most of its business in Telugu states, however the Hindi form after a sluggish beginning had collections gotten during the weekend.

Saturday – Rs. 8.50 crores
Sunday – 9.30 crores

The film performed best in the metropolitan areas which is expected given the film caters to those centers but the collections in smaller centers were good as well. The pattern overall over the course of the weekend was solid and it has proactively recovered the speculation for the vast majority of its distributors and is supposed to give great returns. The film likewise performed firmly abroad with a $900K on the opening weekend in North America. The overall box office collection of Major is Rs. 36.50 crores approx.
